About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The selected fruit comes from 60 hectares of vineyards in central Tuscany. The plots have varied exposures and soil types, with planting densities of 2,500–5,500 vines per hectare. The vines are Guyot-trained.
Grapes
The Chardonnay grapes are selected.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in September. Fermentation lasts 10 days in stainless-steel tanks at 16 °C. Malolactic fermentation is prevented.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for three months.
Label / history
Albizzia belongs to “The classics.The modern” range. Its label features the Frescobaldi family coat of arms, created by Ghirlandaio in the 15th century, representing the meeting of tradition and innovation.
