About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from younger vineyards.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested from late September to early October and macerated for about 15 days. Fermentation lasts 12 days in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Malolactic fermentation follows immediately.

Ageing

The wine matures for 12 months in 80 and 100 hL Slavonian and French oak barrels, followed by four months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Similar in style to Brunello but younger and less complex, the wine is aromatic and elegant, with fewer tannins.
