About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from vineyards across five Barolo municipalities: La Morra, Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga d'Alba, Barolo and Verduno. Their combination produces an expressive, sophisticated wine that is approachable when young while retaining substantial ageing capacity.

Grapes

100% Nebbiolo.

Vinification

The bunches are selected manually following the October harvest. Maceration takes place in small stainless-steel vessels for 10–14 days, with the precise duration determined by the vineyard.

Ageing

The wine matures for 24 months in large 35-hL casks.

Technical data

Production of the 2020 vintage totalled 20,828 bottles. The wine contains sulphites. The listed formats are 750 ml and 1,500 ml.

Serving and pairing

Ageing potential is 20 years. Pair with red-meat or game main courses, mushroom-based first or main courses, and mature cheeses.
