About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
This municipal Barolo combines two small vineyards in La Morra, situated in the Santa Maria and Serra dei Turchi MeGA crus. Its character is marked by a gentle palate and fresh, ethereal, vegetal notes.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
The bunches are selected manually following the October harvest. Maceration lasts approximately 12 days in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in large 35-hL casks.
Technical data
Production of the 2020 vintage comprised 4,200 numbered bottles. The wine contains sulphites. The listed formats are 750 ml and 1,500 ml.
Tasting profile
Gentle on the palate, with fresh, ethereal and vegetal aromatic notes characteristic of its La Morra origins.
Serving and pairing
Ageing potential is 25 years. Pair with red-meat or game main courses, mushroom-based first or main courses, and mature cheeses.
Vintage notes
The inaugural release was the 2016 vintage.
