About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo grows in the commune of La Morra, on south- and southeast-facing clay-sandy soils.

Vinification

The grapes macerate for 5–7 days at 25–30 °C in a rotary fermenter. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine ages for 24 months in small French oak barrels, 35% new and the remainder previously used. It then spends another six months in stainless steel vats before bottling, followed by about one year of maturation in the winery’s cellars.

Tasting profile

Pure fruit is matched by uncommon elegance.
