About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera grows in the "Cascina Boschetto Vecchio" vineyard, in the Cremozina-Annunziata Cru of Nizza Monferrato. The vines are up to 80 years old.
Vinification
After harvest the grapes are carefully selected and gently pressed. Maceration and fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks at a carefully controlled temperature and last 10 days.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in 6000 l Slavonian oak casks, then spends a further 6 months in bottle in the winery's cellars before release.

Rich and full-bodied red.
Vintage notes
The 2020 vintage received a bronze medal at the DWWA.
Label / history
The label of "Boschetto Vecchio" has remained unchanged since 1946. The wine is made in keeping with tradition, and the Guasti family holds its secrets.
