About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Verdeca grapes are grown in the vineyards of Gioia del Colle in southeastern Italy. Cristiano Guttarolo farms organically.
Vinification
The juice has extended contact with the grape skins, followed by a long vinification in porcelain amphorae. The wine is neither filtered nor fined, and only a minimal amount of sulfur is added before bottling.
Tasting profile
More than a light white wine: the skin contact and amphora vinification give it extra complexity and elegance.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with ricotta and anchovies.
