About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Basalghelle, Fontanelle and Codroipo vineyards.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the last week of August. At the winery, the grapes undergo a brief six-hour maceration before pressing, with a must yield of 50%. Fermentation proceeds at a controlled temperature of 10 °C for around 15 days.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for six months, followed by 120 days in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
