About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from small vineyards on Capri, where the project works to preserve the island’s remaining vines.
Grapes
The project includes the local Ciunchesa variety, an ancient clone of Greco.
Vinification
Before fermentation, the grapes are dried for around 30 days, allowing moisture to evaporate and concentrating their flavours and aromas.
Tasting profile
Aromas of cedar and jasmine lead to flavours reminiscent of the sea and sunshine.
Label / history
“Dall'Isola” means “From the Island”. The project was created to revive rare grape varieties and preserve small vineyards on Capri.
