About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Montefalcione, Irpinia, at 550 m above sea level. The vineyards have limestone and clay soils and a cool continental climate, conditions that allow full ripening while preserving freshness and refined elegance.
Vinification
The grapes are usually harvested by hand in early November. After gentle pressing, the must undergoes two days of skin maceration and ferments in stainless steel, with partial malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in barrels before bottling, followed by a further six months of maturation in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
Fresh and intense, with a rich, complex character and refined, expressive elegance.
