About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sauvignon Blanc grows on the “Kofl” plot, whose very steep slopes have clay-limestone soils. The vines root deeply in the rich soil. Mountain streams supply minerals, while evening winds cool the grapes after hot days, contributing freshness and acidity.

Vinification

After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed.

Ageing

The wine rests on its lees in oak barrels. The lees are stirred continually during ageing, exposing the wine to oxygen and adding complexity.

Tasting profile

Fresh and well structured, with fruity notes and pronounced acidity. The bright aroma combines gooseberry, elder, blackcurrant leaf and sage.
