About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from specially chosen slopes at 300–500 m above sea level in Kurtatsch. The large difference between day and night temperatures shapes the wine's aromas. The vines grow in loamy, sandy-gravel soils rich in dolomite.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperature, using neutral yeast.

Ageing

The wine is aged on fine lees until bottling.

Tasting profile

Balanced acidity, with an intense aroma and flavour. The nose shows white pear, fresh flowers and citrus fruit. The dolomite soils lend an appetizing salty minerality and a long, lingering finish.

Vintage notes

The 2022 vintage won a silver medal at The Global Masters in 2023.
