About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Puglia, in vineyards with silty clay and limestone-marl soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. At the winery they are destemmed and crushed, then macerated on the skins for 15 days. Fermentation uses selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 25 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged in large oak barrels and bottled under cold, sterile conditions. Numerous analytical checks are carried out throughout production.
