Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow on clay-silt soils with calcareous marl, which help develop fresh, tangy aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Destemming and crushing give a clean, soft must. Maceration on the skins enhances colour extraction, and fermentation follows at controlled temperature with selected yeasts.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless steel tanks, to preserve its freshness and tangy character.
Tasting profile
Light-hearted and easy-going, with a playful, tangy character. It is not a classically elegant French-style Pinot Noir but shows a bright, lively Italian personality, inviting and spicy.
