About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines were planted in 1989, in vineyards with mainly sandy soils in Puglia.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand in the morning once they reach optimal ripeness, then carefully sorted, destemmed and pressed. Fermentation is spontaneous and takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is not filtered during production.
Ageing
The wine rests on fine lees for 18 months, followed by up to 6 months in bottle.
