About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the estate's vineyards in the Borgo a Mozzano Barsanti area, on slate soils with a high iron content.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed in a traditional wooden vertical press. Vinification follows in open wooden vats. The wine is neither fined nor filtered before bottling.
