History
1960s
The Barsanti family arrived in a small town in the province of Lucca. Mauro Barsanti began growing crops and planted a few rows of vines, making wine from the grapes for his own enjoyment.
After Mauro Barsanti's death
Cipriano Barsanti, together with his brother Antonio and sister Ilaria, began a project to expand the vineyards and develop the area's potential for winegrowing.
1999
The estate's vineyards were replanted, while some 50-year-old vines of native grape varieties were preserved.
2003
The winery received official ICEA certification.
