About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grow in the heart of the Barbaresco region, where the remains of Emperor Publio Elvio Pertinas were discovered.
Vinification
Traditional vinification includes 20 days of maceration, alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 28 months in French oak barrels, followed by 22 months in bottle.
Label / history
Annual production is 8,600 bottles.
