About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The 12 ha vineyard is near Marsala in the Samperi area. Its 17-year-old vines grow in sandy clay soils at a planting density of 3,500 vines per hectare.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of September. After gentle pressing and natural filtration, the wine ferments at low temperature in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine matures for four years in new French barrels without contact with oxygen, preserving its fruity character and delicate notes. It then rests in bottle for six months.

Tasting profile

Fruity in character, with delicate notes.

Label / history

Annual production is limited to 6,000 bottles.
