About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit is grown in the Trevenezie region and reflects the character of its terroir.

Grapes

A blend of Merlot, Raboso and Refosco. Raboso is harvested last, when it reaches optimal ripeness.

Vinification

The must is macerated for 1.5–3 weeks, then fermented under strict temperature control. Malolactic fermentation is used to soften the acidity.

Ageing

The wine is aged in oak barrels of different sizes, which give it spicy notes and rounder tannins.

Tasting profile

Light, pleasant and refreshing on the palate, with an inviting aroma. The 2025 combines juicy berry notes, savoury spice and a deep, velvety structure. Well structured and fruit-forward.

Serving and pairing

Decant before serving. It suits red meat dishes and traditional Italian pasta. It is already mature enough to drink, and can be kept a couple more years to develop further layers of flavour and aroma.
