About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown at the Serego Alighieri estate, among the low hills of Valpolicella. The 130 ha estate comprises fertile land planted with grapevines, fruit trees and olive trees.

Vinification

The varieties are vinified separately in stainless-steel tanks. Garganega undergoes 12 hours of cold maceration, followed by 22 days of fermentation. Sauvignon Blanc ferments for 15–18 days.

Ageing

The Sauvignon Blanc matures for three months in oak barrels. After blending, the wine is bottled and rests for a further two months.

Tasting profile

The aroma combines herbal, floral and fruity notes. The palate is slightly dry, balanced and elegant, with rounded tannins.
