About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot grows at 720 m on the hills of the commune of Negrar, in the high hills of Valpolicella. The climate is cool, with a marked difference between day and night temperatures, which gives the grapes pronounced natural character and crisp acidity.
Vinification
Vinification is gentle, with very soft pressing and fermentation at a strictly controlled low temperature to preserve the character and acidity of the grapes.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 60 days, which adds texture, complexity and depth.
Tasting profile
Delicate pink colour. Fresh and elegant, with crisp acidity and added texture from the lees.
Label / history
The bottle is clear and wider than usual, showing off the pink colour. The Masi label details are decorated with rose petals drawn in light strokes.
