About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The organically grown fruit comes from the winery’s vineyards in the hills of Langhe, east of the Tanaro River and south of Alba, in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont. The vineyards are managed organically.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September, during the cool morning hours to limit oxidation. They undergo a brief cold maceration, followed by low-temperature fermentation under controlled conditions with the natural yeasts present on the grape skins.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees for approximately four months in stainless-steel tanks.
