Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the estate’s vineyards near Canale d’Alba in Roero, at elevations of 280–330 metres.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand between late September and early October.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in wooden barriques, followed by eight months in stainless-steel tanks.

Distinctive and vibrant, with a complex, aromatic bouquet.
Label / history
Approximately 22,000 bottles are produced annually. Matteo Correggia took over the family estate at the age of 23, converted its mixed-crop farm into a winery and bottled his first vintage two years later. He discontinued its previous production, expanded the vineyards from 8 to 20 hectares and upgraded the cellars. Following his death in an accident in 2001, his wife, Ornella Costa, assumed management of the estate. The winery produces approximately 100,000 bottles annually. An asteroid discovered in 1984 was named Matteo Correggia in memory of the winemaker, who lived from 1961 to 2001.
