About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in La Morra, with clay and limestone soils. The vines are 35 years old on average.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed. Maceration, alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests for six months in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The 2009 vintage is elegant and at peak maturity.
