About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Carefully selected fruit comes from the “Col San Martino” vineyard.

Grapes

The wine uses a selection of Glera (Prosecco) and Perera grapes.

Vinification

Traditional white-wine vinification includes gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation. Secondary fermentation takes place in an autoclave at 12–13 °C for 60 days.

Vintage notes

In 2021, average yields in Veneto were 7% lower than in 2020. The growing cycle began slightly later than the previous year, and frost affected some plots during budding on 7 and 8 April. Flowering and fruit set brought generally low temperatures and heavy rainfall. From June onward, temperatures matched seasonal averages and peaked during the first ten days of August. Heavy rain and hail caused significant production losses in some areas, although the grapes remained healthy and of good quality.

Label / history

The wine is dedicated to Graziano Merotto’s daughter.
