About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from the single “Volto della Monta” vineyard in Monferrato, within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyard is farmed with respect for natural resources, biodiversity and the agricultural landscape. Maximum yield is 60 quintals/ha.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in contact with the skins, with frequent stirring of the must, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months, including at least six months in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Malolactic fermentation gives the wine a smooth texture.
