About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Cortese has been grown on the estate in Piedmont since 1856.

Vinification

The grapes are pressed on the evening of the harvest. After careful selection they go into stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation starts at a low temperature of 15–16 °C, to preserve the delicate floral aromas, and lasts 15 days.

Ageing

The wine spends a short time in stainless steel tanks to develop its flavour and aroma. Bottling usually takes place in early spring.

Tasting profile

Pale yellow with golden highlights. Fresh and light, with citrus notes and an inviting floral aroma. Elegant and refined.

Serving and pairing

Described as a summer wine, suited to warm evenings on the terrace.
