About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into crates during the last week of October. At the estate winery they are pressed and moved to stainless steel vats for alcoholic fermentation and skin maceration at lower temperatures, which helps preserve the fruity aromas.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barrels for 18 months. After bottling it rests in bottle for a period to develop a smooth texture and a well-balanced character.
Tasting profile
Bright ruby colour. The nose is inviting, with cherries and delicate floral notes. The palate is vibrant, full-flavoured, deep and balanced, with pronounced tannins and a touch of spice, and a long, appealing finish.
