About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown in the countryside southwest of the province of Brindisi, at a planting density of 4,500 vines per hectare.

Vinification

Harvest takes place in the first hours after dawn during the first ten days of August, avoiding the hottest part of the Salento summer to preserve freshness and aroma. The grapes are destemmed and pressed, followed by a short cold maceration and a second, gentle pressing of the must. Fermentation takes place at low temperature to retain the aromas.

Ageing

The wine rests in steel tanks for four months, followed by a further two months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Delicate fruit aromas are accompanied by good body and pleasant freshness.

Serving and pairing

A match for appetizers and traditional dishes from Puglia.
