About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Primitivo grapes are grown in vineyards between Manduria and Sava, near Taranto.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in the cool early-morning hours to preserve their freshness. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 25 °C for 8–10 days.

Ageing

The wine is aged for 3 months in American oak barrels, then for six months in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting profile

A modern-style, semi-dry red, best enjoyed slowly, sip by sip, taking in its aromas.

Label / history

The wine received gold and silver medals at the local The WineHunter wine festival.
