About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Susumaniello grapes come from the producer's own vineyards in Puglia.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested early in the morning, at optimal ripeness. At the winery they are destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 8–10 days, with regular pump-overs.
Ageing
The wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, then rests for 12 months in bottle.
