About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The wine's crisp flavours are shaped by "ponca", the classic soil of the Colli Orientali del Friuli terroir.
Vinification
The grapes are always harvested by hand, then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks using traditional fermentation. The result is a fresh, youthful wine.
Ageing
After vinification the wine rests for 10–12 months in the same stainless steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Inviting aroma; rich, juicy palate with crisp flavours.
Label / history
The wine belongs to the "Flower" range, whose labels carry an orange flower. The range's wines are described as conveying a message of life and of the relationship between people and nature, and the orange flower also represents the value of time. The flower symbolises purity and simplicity: the kind of flower that pushes through asphalt, looking fragile and vulnerable yet showing remarkable vitality. It was drawn by Melissa, the five-year-old daughter of visitors to the winery. Her sketch became the label for Rodaro's "wines of our traditions".
