About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cortese fruit is grown in vineyards in Gavi, Piedmont, at a relatively low altitude. Sea breezes and moisture assist ripening.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, crushed and briefly macerated on their skins before gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place traditionally in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for at least six months.
