About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
A single-vineyard Barolo from the Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia vineyard in Monforte d’Alba. The Migliorini family acquired the vineyard in 1998, beginning the Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia project. Rodolfo Migliorini subsequently assumed direct responsibility for cultivating and vinifying its historic grapes. Integrated, sustainable vineyard practices were introduced to conserve natural resources and protect the surrounding hills.
Vintage notes
The Riserva is made only in the best years. The 2026 price list presents the 2012 vintage in bottle, magnum and 3-litre formats.
Label / history
Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia takes its name from the vineyard itself. Two single-vineyard Barolos are produced under the name: Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia D.O.C.G. and this Riserva.
