About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Mondino vineyard in the municipality of Neive. The vines are 40–50 years old and grow in limestone and sandy soils at an altitude of 240 metres.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Natural fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at 28–30 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in large oak barrels for 18 months, followed by at least six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
