About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the municipality of Neive at 180–200 m above sea level, on clay and sandy soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Natural fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled steel tanks at 28–30 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in large oak barrels, followed by further ageing in bottle in the winery’s cellars before release.

Vintage notes
The 2023 growing season in Piedmont brought rain, sudden frosts and summer temperatures that occasionally reached 40 °C. Cooler weather and intermittent rain arrived as autumn approached, helping to preserve fresh acidity and intense aromas in the grapes.
