About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards are situated in Madonna di Como, a hamlet of Alba, at 340–380 m above sea level. They face east and stand on white marl containing limestone and clay. The vines are Guyot trained, with a yield of 9,000 kg/ha.

Grapes

100% white Moscato.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand around the first half of September. Fermentation takes place at 18°C in vats with controlled temperature and pressure. Cooling of the must is used to regulate fermentation, followed by sterile filtration.

Tasting profile

Straw yellow with green reflections. White flowers and peach define the aroma. The palate is sweet and aromatic, with broad, intense notes of fresh fruit and acacia honey.

Serving and pairing

Serve cool at 5–6°C. It pairs particularly well with desserts such as traditional Piedmontese hazelnut cake and may also accompany fresh cheeses.
