About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Pagus Cerbaia is a small plot with sedimentary soils used in Poggio al Tesoro’s expansion of its rosé production. The estate benefits from generous sunshine and proximity to the sea: cool sea breezes moderate the hot Tuscan sun, while hills around the valley shelter the vines from northerly winds.
The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, first in the vineyard and again at the winery.
Vinification
The red varieties are fermented separately in stainless-steel vats and then blended for balance.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees. After bottling, it matures for a further month before release.

Open the bottle immediately before serving.
