About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from 1.80 ha of vineyards at an average altitude of 350 m. The soils are composed of marl and limestone, identified in Italian as galestro and alberese. Planting density is 5,600 vines per hectare. The vines are spur-cordon trained at a height of 0.80 m.
Grapes
60% Pugnitello and 40% Prugnolo Gentile.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for eight months in 350 L French-oak tonneaux.
Technical data
Stated production is 112.50 hL, corresponding to an availability of 15,000 bottles.
