Lavischio belongs to the wines produced from the Casavecchia estate, acquired in 1998 in the Chianti region.

100% Merlot.
Tasting profile
The 2015 vintage showed a deep, inky colour and aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, spices, leather, tobacco, flowers and liquorice. Medium-full-bodied and structured, it combined juicy dark fruit with supporting acidity and a persistent finish.
Vintage notes
The 2016 vintage was described through juicy berry and cherry fruit, a hint of tea, medium body and firm, silky tannins.
The 2019 vintage displayed blackcurrant, walnut and thyme, followed by a medium-bodied palate, fine tannins and a fresh finish.
The 2020 vintage was round and juicy, with abundant crushed-blackberry character, medium body and a lightly firm structure.
