1998: Casavecchia joins the company
Casavecchia became part of the Poggio Salvi company in 1998, adding an estate in the Chianti area to its holdings. The estate was introduced as the production base for Chianti Colli Senesi and the Toscana IGT reds Tosco and Lavischio, centred on Sangiovese and Merlot.
Present management
The company encompassing Casavecchia is directed by Pierluigi Tagliabue together with his grandson, winemaker Luca Belingardi.
