About this wine
Grapes
A dessert wine made from late-harvest Moscato grapes. The fruit is left to wither on the vine, concentrating its sugars substantially.
Vinification
The grapes undergo gentle pressing. The resulting must ferments in barriques.
Ageing
The wine remains in barriques for two years.
Tasting profile
Deep old-gold in colour, with an intense hue. The delicate bouquet recalls candied fruit and apricot. The palate is warm, sweet and harmonious, with a fine, elegant body reminiscent of Sauternes.
Serving and pairing
A white Moscato dessert wine.
Label / history
The name Aurico expresses the wine’s deep golden colour and character.
