About this wine

Grapes

Made exclusively from Alicante, also identified as Grenache, as a varietal rosé.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place in refrigerated stainless-steel tanks without contact between the juice and grape skins.

Ageing

Matured for six months in stainless steel.

Tasting profile

Pale rose-pink with soft yellow-gold tones. Pepper, rose petals and a touch of flint shape the aroma. The palate evokes rose lokum and pepper, followed by kumquat and a salty finish reminiscent of crushed mother-of-pearl.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 10–12 °C. Pair with prosciutto, soft cheeses, shrimp, fritto misto, quince tart or panna cotta.

Label / history

Almandino takes its name from a precious stone with pinkish-yellow tones, traditionally believed to enhance fertility and libido.
