About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the municipalities of Capriolo and Iseo.
Vinification
The wine ferments in temperature-controlled steel tanks and is bottled in the spring following the harvest, using the traditional Franciacorta method. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle. After disgorgement, a very dry dosage liqueur is added at 8 g/litre.
Ageing
The wine ages for at least 30 months following secondary fermentation, with a total of 38 months passing between harvest and completion of this stage. It then matures in the cellar for several more months after disgorgement.
Tasting profile
An easy-drinking sparkling wine with floral and fruity notes. Contact with the lees contributes a distinctive bouquet.
Serving and pairing
Keep the bottle chilled in a bucket filled with ice or water.
