About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Made from selected Vermentino bunches grown in estate vineyards at Gavorrano. The vineyards lie at 90 m a.s.l. on medium-textured soil rich in skeletal material, including calcareous marl and galestro. Cool, persistent breezes from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea influence the site. Vines are trained to spurred cordon at 5,900 plants/ha, with a yield of 55 q/ha. The best bunches are carefully selected and picked by hand.

Tasting profile
A full, silky and harmonious white with delicate white flowers and white fruit, citrus notes and a clearly mineral dimension. Its acidity and minerality provide freshness, savoury definition and persistence. The wine combines structure with balance and can continue developing in bottle for several years.
Serving and pairing
A versatile match for grilled fish, shellfish and white meats.
Vintage notes
The 2021 season began with prolonged dry conditions, making the preservation of acidity and freshness a central challenge. A sharp fall in night-time temperatures after the first week of September allowed the grapes to complete ripening successfully, resulting in an overall positive vintage.
