About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are located in the Manduria area at 100 m above sea level, on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 22–24 °C, followed by 15 days of maceration under controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for 4–5 months and then rests in bottle for a further six months before release.
