About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown on hillside vineyards in Treviso. The vines occupy slopes with soils of varying composition that are generally low in organic matter.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September and gently pressed in a pneumatic press. The juice settles at low temperature before controlled-temperature fermentation with selected yeast strains. Secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves using the Charmat method.
