About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in Veneto with clay-limestone soils.
Grapes
Only the largest, healthiest, sun-facing grapes are selected, representing about 10% of the total harvest.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September, placed in wooden crates and dried for four months in dedicated rooms. During this period, they continue to ripen, concentrating their sugars and polyphenols. They are then pressed and vinified at a controlled temperature for five weeks.
Ageing
The wine matures for two years in wooden barrels of various origins and ages, followed by one year in bottle.
