About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Sartarelli’s own vineyards in the Marche region. The vineyards occupy steep terraces at 300–350 m above sea level. Grass grows between the rows to preserve soil nutrients, and yields are kept very low. Growing and harvesting are monitored at every stage.
Grapes
The estate uses grapes from distinctive Verdicchio clones grown in its own vineyards.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine continues to develop after bottling; no duration is specified.
Tasting profile
The palate is structured, rounded and appealing, developing an elegant, smooth character in bottle.
